Event Info:
The Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas Buddy Walk® is not just a one-mile “fun walk”, but a day of activities and fun for the entire family! Over the past fifteen years, the event has expanded to include bounce houses, a rock climbing wall, dj, face painting, games, food trucks, and vendor tents. The purpose of the Buddy Walk® is to help promote acceptance and inclusion of individuals with Down syndrome. It is an inspirational and educational event that celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome.

Registration Info:

All participants, regardless of age, must register in one of the following ways. Your registration along with all necessary fees entitles you access to all event activities and one commemorative Buddy Walk® t-shirt per registrant.

General Online Registration (Ages 13 and Older): Each participant ages 13 or older must donate or raise a minimum of $25. Online registration closes Friday, October 14, 2016.

Child Online Registration (Ages 12 and Under): Children ages 12 and younger are free. Online registration closes Friday, October 14, 2016.

Day of Registration: $35 per registrant ages 13 and older. Free for children ages 12 and under. T-shirts are subject to availability.

Exhibitors, Entertainment & Food Trucks
There will be tons of fun activities including bounce houses, face painting, informational booths, stage entertainment, and much more! A variety of local food trucks will be on site with food for purchase options.

Awareness Walk
The one mile awareness walk will begin and end at the corner of Olive and N. Houston. Bring your team signs to show off your support for your loved one with Down syndrome.
